MDCC Crowns 2022 Homecoming Queen
MOORHEAD, Miss. (Oct. 3, 2022) – On Thursday, Sept. 29, Mississippi Delta Community
College (MDCC) crowned Sydney Alexanderia Hunter as 2022 Homecoming Queen during halftime
as the MDCC Trojans took on the Itawamba Community College Indians.
Hunter is the daughter of Delle and Sidney Hunter of Naples, Florida.
A sophomore, Hunter is majoring in Pre-Allied Health and plans to continue her education after she graduates from MDCC to pursue a career as a neonatal nurse. Outside of the classroom, Hunter is a member of the Delta Dancers.
Hunter’s hobbies include dancing, doing hair and makeup, cooking, shopping, and spending time with friends.
Hunter was crowned by 2021-2022 Homecoming Queen Kaliyah Craig and presented with flowers by MDCC President Dr. Tyrone Jackson.
