2023 Student Hall of Fame

In order to be eligible for the Student Hall of Fame, students must be a sophomore with a scholastic average of 3.5 or better while being in school for at least three consecutive semesters. They must also have rendered service and contributions to the college and possess the qualities of leadership, loyalty, character, overall excellent college citizenship, and potential community leadership.

The following are members of the 2023 Class:

aycock profileHannah Gail Aycock is a Business Administration major from Inverness, MS.

She is a member of the MDCC cheer team, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, and a founding member of Delta Directors Student Tour Guide group.

After MDCC, Hannah plans to attend Mississippi State University and major in Business Administration.

Her favorite thing about MDCC is the family atmosphere. She loves walking around campus and seeing people she knows, sitting in classrooms of teachers whose kids she went to high school with, and going across campus to visit her dad.

To Hannah, MDCC just feels like home!

Dylan Dendy is a History major from Yazoo City, MS.

He is a member of the MDCC baseball team and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

After MDCC, Dylan plans to attend Delta State University where he will be a member of the Statesmen baseball team.

His favorite thing about MDCC is the close knit campus that allowed him to remain close with his friends, classmates, teachers, and teammates.

Brennan Duhe is a Pre-Allied Health major from Paulina, LA.

He is a member of the MDCC baseball team.

After MDCC, Brennan plans to continue pursuing his educational goals at a four-year university

His favorite thing about MDCC is being able to meet new people and make new friends.

Ja'Khyra Ford is a Pre-Health Professions major from Greenville, MS.

She is a member of the MDCC Beta Rho Omicron Chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

After MDCC, Ja'Khyra plans to attend Delta State University where she will pursue a bachelor's degree in speech and hearing sciences. Afterward, Ja'Khyra plans to pursue a master's degree and open a private practice.

Her favorite thing about MDCC is the family-like environment. She enjoys the strong teacher-student relationship and believes it contributed to her success in all of her classes.

Lee Anne Spencer is pursuing an Associate of Applied Science degree in Radiologic Technology and is from Greenville, MS.

She is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, tutored Anatomy and Physiology for a year, received the A&P Award, and has been on the dean's list every semester.

After MDCC, Lee Anne plans to attend the University of Mississippi Medical Center's Radiologic Sciences Advanced Standing program. She then plans to get a Master of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision at Delta State University. Lee Anne would like to teach one day.

Her favorite thing about MDCC is the faculty-to-student ratio. She has been fortunate to get to know each of her teachers on a personal level. She said that the teachers are always available for every student.
