Allen Joins MDCC as New Student Services Coordinator
MOORHEAD, Miss. (Oct. 6, 2021) – Mississippi Delta Community College (MDCC) has named
a new student services coordinator at the Greenville Higher Education Center (GHEC)
in Alexis Allen.
Dean of Operations Linda Jo Clark is delighted and enthusiastic to have Allen at the GHEC.
"We are super excited that Ms. Alexis N. Allen has joined the MDCC/GHEC team as the student services coordinator, which encompasses multiple areas," said Clark. "Allen understands the importance of providing excellent customer service. She has the discernment to connect and collaborate with high school counselors. The professional and personal experiences Ms. Allen brings will be valuable to the entire institution. Her determination and flexibility will aid in our efforts of gearing up for success, as well as moving us from good to great!"
Allen, who came to MDCC after serving as the grants accountant at Delta State University, is similarly excited to have the opportunity to be of service to the city of Greenville and the surrounding areas.
"I am eager to be joining the Trojan family," said Allen. "I am happy to be of service to my hometown community, and I look forward to being a resource to Washington county citizens while providing them with a true MDCC, Trojan experience."
