Electrical Technology

The Electrical Technology Program prepares individuals to install, operate, maintain, and repair electrically-energized systems such as residential, commercial, industrial electric wiring, DC and AC motors, controls, and electrical distribution panels. Instruction in the use of test equipment is included.

Admission Requirements

A minimum ACT score of 15 is required or the current cut score on the TABE. Exceptions may be made with instructor permission for students that do not meet entrance requirements provided the student meets the requirements by the end of the second semester or has a 2.0 GPA.

Completion options include a Career Certificate, Technical Certificate and Associate of Applied Science degree.
